Gladys was trained as a Psychological Counselor in the Master's Degree in Psychological Counseling and Mental Health at the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala from 2006 to 2009, a career that she decided to study after working in education on issues such as student conflict resolution and PEI instrumental stimulation over the years From 2001 to 2009, there he became aware that mental health is an essential component to progress and develop fully in life. From the experience in the Master's degree, his interest in understanding and helping in relation to the human mind began to search for new therapies, conducting studies in Neuro-Linguistic Programming for 4 years. Later he discovered the consequences that the body experiences due to emotions, for which he studied genetic decoding of diseases, clinical psychosomatics and German New Medicine in order to understand his patients more fully, as well as the effect of the family environment. for which he carried out studies in psychogenealogy and Family Constellations.

In 2010, he experienced Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT) in personal therapy and, experiencing rapid changes, wanted to get to know it better to apply it as the basis of care for his patients. Since then, she has participated in ten Seminars of approximately 22 hours each, dictated by the creator, Dr. Asha Clinton, she was trained as a supervisor and teacher of the basic level of AIT, she also participated in the emergency team to care for the victims and survivors. from the eruption of the Fuego volcano in 2018. In 2019, she accompanied a Seminar for the group of Mayan Kaqlá women.

In 2014 she was certified as a Benziger Thinking Styles Assessment licensee to advise on the discovery of natural talent or thinking style to make professional decisions, since that date she has carried out more than 1000 tests and personal interviews. Gladys is trained to accompany personal and professional counseling processes.
